Hyundai Begins College Football Sponsorship Campaign

College football fanatics might be the most loyal people in the country, besides Hyundai drivers of course. Recognizing this, Hyundai decided to become the presenting sponsor for "Thursday Night College Football Live" on ESPN, in addition to supporting 15 different college football teams. The general idea of this sponsorship program is to get fans involved in any way possible, through on-site and on-air marketing.

This new college football sponsorship initiative is part of the company's "Big Voice in Big Places" promotion, which seeks to make sure that the Hyundai brand is represented in the greatest way possible at some of today's most prominent events. Some of these events include the Academy Awards and the Super Bowl.

"College football is all about tradition, loyalty and passionate fans, and no one appreciates that more than Hyundai," said Steve Shannon, Vice President, Marketing, Hyundai Motor America. "Hyundai owners love their cars, so it's no surprise that their support has pushed us to the top of consumer loyalty rankings."1

Hyundai will be sponsoring the following teams: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Auburn, Cal, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, Oregon, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia Tech. As the teams' key sponsor, Hyundai will engage fans via on-site displays and ticket/merchandise giveaways at various games throughout with season, as well as through print, online, local media support, and on-air advertising during the teams' live broadcasts.

At Stephens Hyundai, located at 1441 S.
