Hyundai Redesigns the Genesis Coupe for 2013

If you have not already heard the news, Hyundai is planning on sprucing up the Genesis Coupe for the 2013 model year. Hyundai will introduce this redesigned model at the Detroit Auto Show at the beginning of 2012. Rumors have been spreading as to what this updated version will look like. Some folks believe that the bulk of the changes will be to the model's appearance, while others think it might be more performance based. Stephens Hyundai is excited to inform you that both the appearance and performance will be altered!

Some photos were recently leaked that showed the 2012 Genesis Coupe offering an elegant and sleek exterior design. Some new information involving the coupe's updated engine has been spreading around the internet. In particular, the model's dual engine options achieve greater horsepower and torque. However, the most exciting news is seen in the transmission's number of speeds.

While previous iterations of the Hyundai Genesis Coupe have featured either a five- or six-speed transmission, the 2013 model is set to feature a newly-developed eight-speed automatic transmission. Of course, those who prefer to stick to a manual gear box can opt to keep its current six-speed manual as well. In other words, there's performance for everyone in next year's model.

Those of you who simply can't wait for next year, however, are more than welcome to come take the current 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe for a test drive today by contacting us or by visiting us at 1441 S. Liberty in Bloomington, IN.
